Michelle Painter-Larson

Dear PLAID Families,

The Oireachtas entry fees are due Monday Sept 19th. Only 66 more days to go.

Thank you to the Holmes family for hosting a pool party for PLAID. It was a fabulous day. Good food, good friends both new and old, plenty of splashes and laughs.

Dear  PLAID Familes and Dancers:

> Thank you to all of you who have picked up the fundraiser envelopes this  week and begun selling!  Your participation is very important.  If you haven’t picked up  your envelope yet, please do so at the studio you attend most regularly.

> For your convenience, the Booster Club has set up communication boxes in Fullerton  and Glendora near the bulletin boards.  You can begin to leave the fundraiser envelopes with your order or ‘buyout option’ there, and  we will pick it up. REMEMBER THE DEADLINE IS OCTOBER 11th!
>
> Our main goal is to raise enough money for upcoming expenses which must be paid prior to our show at Cal Poly Pomona on Sat., Feb. 5, 2011.  This includes a rental fee of $3,700 due in January and approximately $400 for the printing of the tickets.  Michelle has designed  a new show, so new costumes along with other items such as musicians, program printing, props, etc. will also be needed.  The last show cost $6750 to produce. This is  why your cooperation so important.

> From the Shamrocks to the Open Champions, the  PLAID show has been always a great experience for the dancers. It is also a wonderful opportunity for families and friends to see the children performing without the stress or pressure of a competition. It is a fantastic group activity where they are the “stars”, showing off what they love to do: Irish Dance.  Please do your best to help our dancers!  And thank you for your continuing support!

>Sincerely,
> IDBC

Welcome to our new website. Thank you to Bob Delgado for designing it. He did an awesome job. I am in the process of learning how to use this site. By next week I should have a good handle on what it can and cannot do. I will evaluate the best way to use it to communicate with all of you.
Have fun and explore.
